You Can Now Put Glossier on Your Entire Body Thanks to Body Hero

Fresh off the heels of its last, totally-out-of-left-field launch, Glossier is shaking things up again with the release of a completely new category today. Meet Body Hero, a set of two everyday products for the rest of your skin, inspired by ones you’re probably already putting on your face.

The duo includes the Daily Oil Wash ($18) and the Daily Perfecting Cream ($22), which are available separately, but you can save $5 if you grab them as a duo package. Both are larger sizes (8.4 oz.) than we’re used to getting from the brand — looking at you, 1 oz. SPF — and were created with oil cleansers and ultra-hydrating face creams as a point of reference. The packaging is (surprise!) millennial pink, with a Supreme-esque box logo for the “Body Hero” name.

The Daily Oil Wash is formulated with a blend of seven oils, including sunflower seed oil to help the skin retain moisture, grapeseed oil for antioxidant benefits like skin-brightening vitamin C, plus others that are known to be wildly efficient moisturizers for softer skin, such as coconut, olive, and soybean oils.

Unlike typical drugstore body washes, which can leave your skin feeling dry, you won’t find any soap or water (0 percent) in these formulations. The Daily Oil Wash froths up with a little bit of water and washes away grime and sweat without stripping moisture. It also smells really good, but just subtle enough to not be overwhelming, thanks to orange blossom and neroli oils.

The Daily Perfecting Cream is super lightweight and designed to be your post-shower (or anytime, really) body lotion. Like a really great face moisturizer, it aims to go beyond just hydrating, claiming to improve elasticity and smoothness and, of course, give you some glow. Plus, it absorbs into the skin super fast and leaves absolutely no residue, so you don’t have to wait to get dressed.

If you’re a Glossier skeptic (no-makeup makeup not your thing?), I’d highly suggest giving Body Hero a go. Unlike some items in the rest of the brand’s lineup, you’ll actually get your money’s worth of product, and some soft, dewy skin to boot.
