Urban Outfitters’ Outerwear Section Is So Good Right Now

There are options for now through January.

Think what you will about adults wearing Urban Outfitters post-college. But I feel morally obligated to let everyone know that the ubiquitous #cool retailer has some serious gems in its outerwear section right now. And as with some of the brand’s other universally praised finds (see: BDG denim forever), you’re getting some pretty great quality at wallet-friendly prices.

There’s a huge mix of stuff from in-house lines Silence + Noise, Kimchi Blue, and BDG, plus names like UNIF, Levi's, Alpha Industries, and BlankNYC that will take you through each part of the season and into the winter months. Lighter options — from jean jackets to oversized blazers — are all accounted for, along with plenty of faux fur, leather, and classic puffer jackets for when the temperatures really start to drop.
