The Lane Bryant x Prabal Gurung Fall Collection Is Finally Here

Fresh off the heels of yet another disappointing plus-size showing at New York Fashion Week, Lane Bryant’s latest collaboration with designer Prabal Gurung is here to show the industry how it’s really done.

The two have teamed up to deliver a cozy workweek-through-weekend lineup for fall, with chunky knits, textured skirts, and statement coats among some other really great standout pieces, like these lace-up faux leather skinny pants and this rose-colored asymmetrical dress (each $98). The collection not only appears luxe in its lookbook photos (thanks in large part to model Candice Huffine): When I checked it out ahead of its launch, I was able to confirm that it looks (and feels!) that good IRL, too.

Much like Gurung’s first collaboration with the retailer, the fall collection doesn't follow the “rules” of what plus-size clothes should look like. Nothing is too conservative — playing up the idea that women over a size 12 want to cover up and hide their bodies — but it’s not too flashy or “clubby” either, speaking to the other side of the coin that says you’ve reached peak body positivity when you show it all off. The middle ground of fun, functional, and accessible clothes that can just as easily be worn to work as they can to brunch in this size range is wildly refreshing.

Available in sizes 14 through 28, the 12-piece fall capsule collection ranges in price from $38 to $278. It also feels important to mention that Lane Bryant is currently running a buy-one, get-one sale sitewide today — and this collection isn’t excluded.
