I’m a low-energy morning person. It’s easy for me to wake up before my alarm goes off, but when it comes to getting out of bed, my body feels like it’s fighting a deep ache that keeps me pinned to my sheets. Hello, winter!
The only thing that truly wakes me up is my skincare routine. It makes me feel refreshed and new, though it’s also the longest part of my morning (and the most common reason that I miss the bus to the office).
That changed six months ago when I discovered Saborino’s Mezama Sheet Masks on the r/AsianBeauty subreddit. It’s a three-in-one mask that cleanses, tones, and moisturizes, and it’s something I can put on without even leaving my bed.
There’s a lot to tout about the Saborino Mezama sheet: It’s a Japanese award-winning facial mask with hyaluronic acid and collagen — two ingredients scientifically proven to combat aging — and it’s pretty affordable at $15.99 for 32 sheets. But the best part is you only need to wear it for one minute, which significantly cuts down my five-step cleansing routine.
Plus, its tea tree and peppermint makes my face tingle just enough to perk me up. Within seconds I feel more motivated to start getting dressed. Once I finish changing, I take off the mask, slather on some SPF, and I’m out the door.
