The royal baby is here, and so is Kate Middleton’s famously fashionable post-hospital outfit: For the birth of her third child, she chose a bright cherry-red Jenny Packham dress with a white Peter Pan collar. Fun!
Much like the past two times, for her first appearance after giving birth, Kate had a fully perfect blowout (her stylist Natasha Archer was seen leaving the hospital earlier today), and, of course, heels(!!!!!!!).

Though some have suggested the dress might be a patriotic tribute for St. George’s Day (the English flag is red and white, and St. George is the patron saint of England), the Press Association also noted that the dress is strikingly similar to the outfit her late mother-in-law, Diana, Princess of Wales wore after giving birth to Prince Harry:
The duchess's outfit also appeared to be a tribute to Diana, Princess of Wales, who appeared in red and white on the steps of the Lindo Wing with newborn Prince Harry in 1984 pic.twitter.com/TOY3UvUTiv
