Fashion-industry veteran April Uchitel is the chief brand officer of Spring, the buzzy shopping app that launched in August 2014. She has over twenty-five years of experience working in the fashion industry, and is currently a mentor in the CFDA Incubator Program.

Jennifer Mankins

Bird owner Jen Mankins got her start in fashion working as an assistant buyer for Barneys New York and later became the head buyer for Steven Alan. Bird has been voted Best Women’s Boutique in NYC by New York Magazine and Top Visionary Boutique in the US by Lucky Magazine. Jen herself was credited by The New York Times for pioneering the “Brooklyn look.”

Erica Cerulo

Erica Cerulo is the co-founder of Of a Kind, where she—along with longtime friend and business partner Claire Mazur—sells the pieces and tells the stories of emerging fashion and home designers. Previously, she was an editor at Details and Lucky.

Claire Mazur

Claire Mazur is the co-founder of Of a Kind. Her accolades include Forbes’ “30 under 30,” Fashionista’s “50 Most Influential People in New York Fashion,” and Brooklyn Magazine's “Most Important Names in Brooklyn Design.”

Kathy Rose

Iranian-American designer Kathy Rose is the owner of Roseark, an LA boutique that she founded in 2003. A year later, she was named a a finalist for the FGI Rising Star Award, and in 2010, was the winner of Bravo's clothing design competition, Launch My Line.

Rony Vardi

Rony Vardi is the founder and co-creative director of Catbird, a Brooklyn-based jewelry boutique, fine jewelry line, and e-commerce site known for setting trends and establishing young designers.

Leigh Plessner

Leigh Plessner is the co-creative director, co-designer, and general manager of Catbird. She joined the team in 2006, and, with Rony, helped shape Catbird's fine jewelry line.

Edina Sultanik Silver

Edina Sultanik is the former fashion director for YM Magazine, Complex, and Sportswear International, and is one of the co-founders of Capsule—an influential fashion trade show that spotlights the collections of young designers in New York, Paris and Las Vegas. She's also a co-founder of BPMW, a New York-based fashion PR firm and branding consultancy.

Erica Weiner

Born in Brooklyn and raised in New Jersey, Erica Weiner launched her namesake jewelry brand in 2005. Her collections include engagement rings, costume jewelry, and a vintage-inspired fine jewelry line called 1909.

Kristen Lee Cole

Kristen Lee Cole founded the LA boutique TenOverSix with the vision of combining fashion, art, and home design in a well-edited and inspired environment. In 2013, the store expanded to Dallas.

Pamela Love

Brooklyn-born Pamela Love is the owner of Pamela Love Jewelry, a line committed to sustainability and localized production that started from her apartment in 2006.

Nikki Tattersall

Nikki Tattersall is the buying director at ASOS, a trendy e-commerce fashion and beauty site that currently sells over 850 brands worldwide, including its own range of clothing and accessories.

Lizzie Fortunato

Lizzie Fortunato is the founder, designer, and creative director of Lizzie Fortunato Jewels, a New York City-based jewelry and leather goods line inspired by and sourced from materials around the world.

Kathryn Fortunato

Kathryn Fortunato left Wall Street to officially join her twin sister’s business in 2010. Today, she oversees sales and operations of Lizzie Fortunato Jewels.

Wing Yau

Wing Yau is a New York-based designer born in the Pacific Northwest, and spent her childhood in Peru and Papua New Guinea. She has a background in sculpture from the Rhode Island School of Design, and she developed her jewelry line, WWAKE, in 2012. She is a member of the Racked Young Guns Class of 2014.

Located in LA, Sharpe Suiting is a custom-constructed and ready-to-wear suits brand that provides members of the queer community with gender-neutral luxury clothing.
