At the J. Crew Fashion Week presentation this morning, Jenna Lyons told WWD that J. Crew will be doing a collaboration with none other than Manolo Blahnik for fall. The only details we have so far are via WWD's twitter feed, which reports that the capsule will be sold online. So, what this means is that J. Crew has officially taken over the collab world. What else it means is that Jenna Lyons finally got her wish, as told to Fashionista in 2010: “What we’d really like to do, especially for women’s, is a shoe collaboration where we maybe go to someone like Manolo Blahnik or Christian Louboutin," Lyons said way back then. Well, Happy Valentine's Day, Jenna. Two years later, wish granted.
