Manolo Blahnik's name is synonymous with sexy, luxurious heels, but the man himself is funny, even a bit goofy. He chatted recently about all manner of things for Vogue, including his aspirations for the film industry, how he doesn't care if he makes a ton of money, and why women's feet are too large these days. Turns out the man isn't a fan of sneakers. "Most of the feet now have become too large," he says. "For years and years and years, they've been wearing those funky [makes face like something smells bad] Nik...mmm, I don't [want] to mention names...but you know, like [makes gesture pulling hands apart]. You know what I'm saying, those shoes. Sneakers, or whatever you call them [cue laughter]. And that destroys your footsie. Yes, they do."
Blahnik also pilots the very tricky tight-white-scarf-wound-round-neck-atop-a-bow-tie look in the video, which we advise that you don't attempt yourself unless you are a very stylish, eccentric European with money to burn and no Fs to give.
