Jen Karetnick is the author of 12 books, most recently the cookbook, Mango (University Press of Florida, 2014) and the poetry book, Brie Season (White Violet Press, 2014). She works as the Creative Writing Director for Miami Arts Charter School; the dining critic for MIAMI Magazine; and a freelance writer for publications including TheAtlantic.com, TheBlot.com, Korean Air, The Local Palate, Miami Herald and Virgin Atlantic Airlines, among others. Her poems, essays and plays have been published widely in literary journals and anthologies.
