Katy Perry has achieved a certain trifecta of achievement in the entertainment industry. She's a songstress, a video game consultant, and a high profile member of Appropriators Anonymous. This lady has bastardized almost every single culture under the Sun; from whitewashing and sexualizing Ancient Egyptian culture in "Dark Horse," and perpetuating an orientalist daydream nightmare at the American Music Awards in 2013, to mocking African American culture in "This is How We Do." Despite countless people trying to inform of her of the harm she causes by making costumes of people of color's cultures, she continues to do it. And, she still continues to be a cultural icon making millions upon millions.

The pop star was enlisted by Team Clinton to perform at a rally in Iowa yesterday, and take over Clinton's Instagram for the day. Perry is known for her outlandish outfit choices, and being the face of the extremely appropriative fashion line, Moschino, she obviously needs to tick off some more cultures in the mix to diversify her appropriation repertoire.
This time, her target was Punjabi Sikhs with a turban made of a spandex-type material. Perry performed at the rally in a tight, white strapless dress with an H button, and nails with decorated with Hillary Clinton's logo and 2016:
Perry must have some sort of addiction to appropriation, or she continues to do it because she's just too rich and white to care about it's implications. Either way, it wasn't a good look, and completely ruined this selfie with the Democrat candidate herself:
