What's Coming to Netflix in May: Bring It On, Finally

It's been a long, long road, but after much deliberation between the powers that be at Netflix — likely done via vigorous claps, cutesy rhymes, and plenty of jazz hands — the seminal 2000 film Bring It On is finally coming to the streaming service.

Also new this month: a black-and-white, pin-curled Reese Witherspoon in Pleasantville, a very aloof, naked Gwyneth Paltrow in the 1998 modernization of Great Expectations, and 16-year-old Molly Ringwald in Sixteen Candles. Scroll down for the full list of all the new titles coming up this month.

Watch It First

Bring It On

The only good sports movie ever (Kidding!! Or are we?!?!) is finally coming to Netflix. Relive the rivalry between the Toros and the Clovers (and your childhood desire to become a competitive cheerleader) when it arrives on the streaming site on May 1st.

Great Expectations

Who better than '90s Gwyneth Paltrow to play the modernized version of Estella, the beautiful but heartbreakingly cold love interest in Dickens' Great Expectations? Bonus: '90s Ethan Hawke and '90s Robert De Niro are also in this movie, which naturally includes some very '90s fashion.

Sixteen Candles

Following a 2000's classic and a '90s classic, here's an '80s classic that involves one of the most romantic kisses in movie history. Plus, the Cusacks — both John and the vastly superior Joan — are in it.
