What's going on at Gap right now is a little confusing. The company brought in COS vet Rebekka Bay to fill the long vacant role of creative director in September 2012, rolled out the first batch of product under her direction for spring 2014, and then—boom!—it announced it was eliminating her position altogether.
What's in stores now is still the product of Bay's (very good) influence on Gap, so we decided to shop it while we could. Our trip yielded four useful, versatile, and cool pieces: a tremendously good looking rain jacket (seriously), a quilted blouse that's actually just a super fancy t-shirt in disguise, a pair of leather loafers with the perfect almond-shaped toe (so flattering), and a little pink crossbody from their surprisingly killer leather bag assortment. Watch the video above to see what we love about these pieces.
